By adding the 6” extension post along with the dual rod clip technology, you can store those larger saltwater rods vertically on this fishing rod rack. The caps on the base plate capture any water from the rod or reels, the center post is 38mm (1.5”) in diameter and has been powder coated for durability and is scratch resistant.
